Level 1 EV charging is very slow in comparison to Level 2 charging. You can typically install a Level 1 EV charger using a 3-prong outlet. You can expect about 4 miles of range per hour of charging.
Level 2 EV chargers are more powerful. You can expect 10-20 miles of range per hour of EV charging. They do require a dryer outlet and may require an electrician.
